Dark Chocolate Orange Smoothie {Vegan, RSF}

Filed in: drinks, sweet

This dark chocolate orange smoothie is rich, creamy, velvety and packed full of good for you ingredients that make it the perfect frozen afternoon treat or after workout snack.

Dark Chocolate Orange Smoothie | Anisa Sabet | The Macadames-13

I absolutely love the combination of orange and chocolate. Although there isn’t much that doesn’t go with chocolate, I especially love the citrus tang of orange with rich, velvety dark chocolate.

This recipe has a few basic ingredients but together makes a nutrition dense and decadent afternoon treat or after workout snack. Throw in a handful of spinach and you can have it for breakfast too.

The recipe makes the smoothie quite thick (the way that I like it) but if you want a thinner smoothie, just add a bit more milk until you’ve reached the desired consistency.

What’s your favourite chocolate combination?

Don’t forget to hashtag #cookwiththemacadames when making my recipes. I love to see how you went and get a peek at your kitchen table.
