Well. I don’t lie. This is the best espresso martini you’ll ever have.
Recipe for Espresso Martini by Anisa Sabet for The Macadames.
Well guys, Happy New Year! 2017 was a great year for me, and I look forward to an even better 2018.
I am a massive advocate of the anti NY resolution list, as who needs more unrealistic goals to be depressed about right? I know this absolutely works for many, and if you’re one of those people, I adore you. But it doesn’t work for me ??
On Stories I can see everyone smashing their lists of 2018 goals & I’m like over here, kinda just wanting to eat more burgers ??? & not get fat ?. Although it can totes be therapeutic to write things down, intentions (watch less tv, read more blah blah) & all that, let’s get real, there’s really one thing we should ALL have on our lists / non-lists and that’s, be fucking kind to yourself.
2018 is my year to stop criticising myself, my work, my body, my motivation levels, my parenting, my wifeying etc etc etc. If I get through 2018 with more self-love, then I killed it. What are your thoughts? Are you a new years resolutions kinda person?
But let’s get to the point of this post. Here’s my recipe for my fav espresso martini! It’s the perfect drink to get the night started, especially if it’s going to be a big one. Once you’ve made them at home, you’ll never bother ordering them out again, because they are THAT easy.
I hope you enjoy this recipe and i’d love to know what you think.
P.s Can you tell which photo I shot using a high aperture? What do you think?
P.p.s I am no longer adhering to naming my posts based on optimising for search engines, as when I plan recipes at home, I don’t give a toss about SEO. Soz Google.
Don’t forget to hashtag #cookwiththemacadames when making my recipes. I love to see how you went and get a peek at your kitchen table.
1. Put ice in martini glasses to chill them (or pop into freezer).
2. Fill your cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in ingredients, shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
3. Empty your glasses of the ice or pull them from the freezer, strain mixture into glass. Drink.
Bon appétit!
