Shoot Diary: Wine Shadows

Filed in: shoot diary

~ Self directed work – which is your favourite? ~

~ June 2020 ~

I shot these using a single artificial light (I use Godox) with a reflector bulb & honeycomb grid. I played around with the direction of the light until I got the shadow shapes that I liked. I love the control you get from artificial lights, put them up or down, or angle them differently, and you can change the aesthetic of the image completely. The same works with the sun at different times of day. Have a play & let me know how you go.
